The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle NE-facing slope in low-lying pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised D-shaped area (c. 40m NW-SE; c. 28m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone with an external fosse. The original entrance was not recognisable. The rath has since been levelled and the only surviving remains are a low scarp (H 0.4m) curving from SE-SSE-S and a bank (Wth c. 5m; H 0.2m) at SW. However, the outline of the rest of the monument is still evident.
