The National Monuments Service's description
A land grant to Richard Browne and his wife Mary in 1620 included the 'castle [LF024-004----] and lands of Castlereogh [Foxhall] with a water-mill' (Cal. pat. rolls Ire., Jas I, 490). The precise location of the mill has not been identified.
