The National Monuments Service's description
Within the burial ground (LF023-113002-), c. 30m to the NE of the Cistercian abbey (LF023-113----). This recumbent limestone graveslab (L 1.5m; Wth 0.7m; T 0.1m), of 17th century date, is rectangular in outline. On the exposed face an IHS symbol is carved in false relief. A cross with expanded arms rises from the horizontal bar of the H. Underneath this symbol are two armorial shields and a very worn Latin inscription carved in false relief runs along the its edges. The inscription reads 'ORA PRO ANIMO CONATY FERRALL DE/LISLEA. ARMIGERI IBIDEM/DEFUNCTI 18 JANUARII AN. DO. 1644/ET PRO ANIMA MARGARETAE GERALDINE/RELICT OF CONATY/I.H.S.' (Lennon 2006, 69)
