The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying ground on the SE bank of the Inny River. This potential monument was first recorded on the OS 25-inch plan (surveyed 1911) where it is represented as a subrectangular raised area defined by hachures. This feature is overlain by a massive spoil heap resulting from river-drainage works and there is no visible trace of it at ground level. The possibility that this mound could be the result of similar works cannot be ruled out.
