The National Monuments Service's description
On a low rise in pasture. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised circular area (diam. c. 55m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone. There was no trace of a fosse and the original entrance was not recognisable. The rath has been levelled. All that survives is a low scarp (H 0.5m) extending from N-E-SSE, marking the circuit of that part of the perimeter that had formerly had been incorporated into a field boundary.
