The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle W-facing slope in pasture. A raised subcircular area (c. 52m N-S; c. 49m E-W) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 2.6m; H 0.2-0.4m) with traces of a shallow external fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.2m), which are identifiable only at S and from WSW-W-NW. The bank has been modified and incorporated into a field boundary from NE-E-SSW. The original entrance is not recognisable. The ground level of the interior rises appreciably from the bank towards the centre. A scarp (H 0.5-0.6m) extends for a short distance to the W of the centre and then northwards towards the bank. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded an irregularly shaped stony area, of unknown significance, at the centre. It is densely overgrown with scrub.
