The National Monuments Service's description
On the summit of a high, prominent ridge in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. c. 34m) defined by a scarp (H 0.7m) with evidence of stone-facing in places. At the base of the scarp is a largely infilled fosse (Wth c. 2m; D 0.1m). A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded that the original entrance was at E.
