The National Monuments Service's description
This platform (exposed L 2m; Wth 1.3m), consisting of small and large brushwood, was located on the field surface immediately to the ESE of a drain; it was largely milled out. One large piece of brushwood, at the SSW end, had a metal-cut chisel-point tip with three facets, one of which was stepped. Eight to ten small and large pieces of brushwood visible in the WSW face of the drain, at a depth of 0.68m, may have been associated with it. (Dunne 1999, 19, 99DNSW0004A)
