The National Monuments Service's description
A platform exposed on the field surface to the WNW of a drain was largely milled out (exposed area 2.35m x 1.6m). Approximately twenty pieces of brushwood and roundwood (diam. 0.03-0.12m) were noted, orientated generally NE-SW. A large brushwood, orientated N-S, was visible in the opposite or ESE drain face, close to the surface. Several more pieces of brushwood, with random orientations, were evident on the surface at the same level as the main spread. There were no visible signs of woodworking. (Dunne 1999, 33, 99DBSE0020A)
