The National Monuments Service's description
Nine closely set, parallel, longitudinal roundwoods were exposed in an ENE drain face (exposed Wth 2.55m); there was some evidence of woodworking. The roundwoods appeared to rest on a dense bed of brushwood but this lay below the water level of the drain and could not be investigated further. (Dunne 1999, 14, 99DR0002A)
