The National Monuments Service's description
A vertical brushwood peg (diam. 0.03m; L 0.7m) was exposed in a drain face. The end was degraded but it may have originally been a chisel-point. Ten facets around the circumference at the mid-point created a band (D 0.015m) around the peg, which had snapped in half at this point. Possibly modern. (Dunne 1999, 17, 99DR0010a)
