Originally recorded as a group of parallel roundwoods and pieces of brushwood (overall L 18m; Wth 1.8m; diam. 0.02-0.12m), orientated ENE-WSW, located on the field surface (exposed area 3.3m ENE-WSW x 1.4m NNW-SSE) immediately ESE of a drain. At right angles under one section of roundwood were five pieces of closely set transverse brushwood. Also, some very small twigs overlay the roundwood in places. Some vertical brushwood pegs were noted, along with two pieces of large brushwood which extended diagonally into the bog. Several worked ends were visible with both chisel and wedge-points represented. Another spread (Wth 1m) of roundwood and brushwood, with a similar orientation, was exposed 18m to the ENE. This spread was 3.5m WNW of an adjacent drain and, most likely, was further remains of the togher. The area between may have been milled out (Dunne 1999, 37, 99DBSE031A-B). Excavation in 2002 yielded an Iron Age date of 357-234 BC (Whitaker 2009, 41). The remains were aligned E-W and were composed of roundwood, brushwood and two half-split roundwoods. There was one transverse and two pegs in evidence.
