The National Monuments Service's description

A substantial togher (exposed Wth 5.6m; T 0.4m min.) consisting of at least two split timbers, more than 30 roundwoods and over 100 pieces of brushwood was visible in both the E and W faces of a drain. It appeared to be orientated E-W, extending roughly at right angles to the line of the drain. A superstructure consisted of the two split timbers and numerous roundwoods (diam. 0.1-0.15m). The underlying substructure was composed of small brushwood (diam. c. 0.03m). (Dunne 1999, 4, 99LBW0006A)
