The National Monuments Service's description

A thin layer (L 4.9m; Wth 1.6m max.; D 0.02m) of tightly packed hazel brushwood (diam. 0.01-0.02m). The togher narrowed from SW to NE along its orientation. (Raftery, 1990; 1996, Corlea 14, 93-4)
