The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle NE-facing slope in reclaimed pasture. A raised roughly oval area (c. 49m NE-SW; c. 37m NW-SE) defined by a scarp (H 1.2-2m) with an external fosse (Wth 1.2-3.5m; D 0.7m), which has been largely infilled from WNW-N-ENE and from E-SE-SSE. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a low outer bank at S. The original entrance is not recognisable.
