The National Monuments Service's description
Within the interior of a rath (LF022-028001-). According to local tradition, there is a 'cave' in the E sector where it intersects with a later enclosure/annexe (LF022-028002-). It is said to extend northwards under the NW-SE roadway that cuts through the N half of the rath. A low, sod-covered, stony rise in the centre of the rath, adjacent to the road, may indicate the souterrain.
