The National Monuments Service's description

A low grass-covered earth and stone platform is visible in the ENE sector of the monastic cashel (LF021-048----) at Inchcleraun, and may be the remains of a possible leacht or the remains of a structure. The earthwork has the appearance of a low stone cairn standing on the e edge of the island overlooking the shoreline of Lough Ree and is similar in appearance to the low irregular-shaped cairn or leacht (LF021-048015-) to the S of Templemurry (LF021-048006-).
