The National Monuments Service's description
On the N side of a road within the NW quadrant of an ecclesiastical enclosure (LF021-033----). Depicted as a small circular enclosure with the designation Fort on the 1837 and 1878 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This enclosure and the area immediately surrounding it are densely overgrown with scrub rendering inspection difficult. However, large quantities of loose stone, probably collapse from a drystone wall, are visible.
