The National Monuments Service's description

A superstructure of lightly packed small brushwood (diam. 0.02-0.03m) rested on a substructure of large brushwood (diam. 0.04-0.06m). All the brushwood (exposed L 2m; Wth 0.7m; T 0.2m) was laid longitudinally in a NNE-SSW alignment. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform.
