The National Monuments Service's description

A substantial structure (overall exposed Wth 6.2m; T 0.35m), orientated NE-SW, composed of closely set longitudinal roundwood (diam. 0.2m max.) flanked by brushwood (diam. 0.045-0.06m). Pegs were also evident. The evidence suggested that this was likely to be the remains of a platform.
