The National Monuments Service's description
In bogland. A spread (L 4.4m; Wth 5m; D 0.08m) of yellow/orange peat ash was noted along the face of a drain and on the field surface. In many places the ash was covered by stratified peat and may be evidence of an episode of burning in the bog.
