The National Monuments Service's description

At the highest point of a NW-SE ridge in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 32.1m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.1m; H 0.8m max.) with an external fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 0.5m). From WNW-N-ENE the outer face of the bank and the fosse have been modified and incorporated into a field boundary, which also forms the division between the two townlands. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded traces of a possible stone revetment on the inner face of the bank at NW and suggested that the original entrance may have been at NE. These features were not identified but the rath is very overgrown with scrub rendering detailed inspection very difficult.
