The National Monuments Service's description
On a NE-facing slope in pasture. A raised subcircular area (54.5m NW-SE; 51.2m NE-SW) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; H 1.1m max.) with an external fosse (Wth 4.1m; D 0.6m). Drystone masonry has been applied to the outer face of the bank in places. A modern field bank at the outer lip of the fosse, from SSW-N-NNE and from ESE-SE-SSE, may have been fashioned from a pre-existing outer bank. Elsewhere the fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. The original entrance is not recognisable. A short distance inside the bank at NNW is a low, subrectangular mound of earth and stone (10.8m N-S; 4.5m E-W; H 0.1m -0.4m) of uncertain significance.
