The National Monuments Service's description

Within the WNW sector of the interior of a rath (LF017-008001-). A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded that the souterrain was situated at the N end of a possible house site (LF017-008003-) that is no longer visible at ground level. Within a modern concrete setting is an opening to a blocked-up passage (Wth 1.15m; H 0.73m; L c. 5.4m) aligned E-W. It is constructed of drystone walls and roofed with large, flat slabs.
