The National Monuments Service's description
Archaeological testing in 2004 in advance of roadworks exposed a series of pits (Tinnynarr 002-004) filled with charcoal and burnt stone (McQuade 2007, 251). Subsequent excavation of Tinnynarr 003 in 2005 failed to reveal any further information (McCabe 2008, 253).
