The National Monuments Service's description
Circa 50m to the W of a ringfort (LF015-050----). A pre-development archaeological assessment prior to development works near Edgeworthstown and subsequent excavation in 2004 revealed two charcoal-filled pits (Wth 0.45m; D 0.12m; Wth 0.8m; D 0.2m respectively) (OCarroll and Gilligan 2004, 10; OCarroll 2007, 250).
