The National Monuments Service's description
On a NE-facing slope in pasture, c. 170m above a small but fast-flowing stream. A raised circular area (diam. 29.6m) enclosed by the outline of a levelled wide bank of earth and stone (Wth c. 7.6m), a wide, shallow, intervening fosse (Wth 5.4m; D 0.5m) and a wide low outer bank (Wth 6.55m; H 0.1m). From WSW–W–N the external face of the outer bank has been destroyed due to the construction of a modern NE–SW field boundary. The original entrance is not recognisable.
