The National Monuments Service's description

Indicated as a square tree-covered enclosure on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is not recorded on the OS 25-inch plan (1911) though its four corners are marked by individual trees. It consists of a raised rectangular area (dims. c.26m N-S; c.19m E-W) enclosed by two low earthen banks with shallow intermediate fosse. Original entrance not recognisable. The internal ground level rises from the perimeter to form a low mound at the centre. It is similar to another square enclosure (LF015-039----) c. 100m to the SE and the remains probably are a landscape feautre within the demesne of Lissard House.
