The National Monuments Service's description

Close to the base of a SE-facing hill. A raised circular area (diam. 27.9m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.1m; H 0.4m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 2.6m; D 0.2m). It is divided into roughly equal portions by a NNW-SSE field drain, which marks the division between the two townlands. The portion to the WSW has been largely levelled and only its outline is identifiable. The original entrance is not recognisable.
