The National Monuments Service's description
In level, low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 33.5m) enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 4.3m; H 0.9m max.), an intervening fosse (Wth 4.8m; D 1.4m), outer bank (Wth 5.4m; H 1.25m) and outer fosse (Wth 4.1m; D 0.6m). From NW–N–NE the external face of the outer bank has been modified and the outer fosse has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a third low bank; it also noted that the interior was bisected into roughly equal portions by a low bank and fosse, aligned NE–SW. These features are no longer visible at ground level. A break (Wth 4.1m) in the banks at SE with an accompanying causeway marks the original entrance. A possible souterrain (LF014-074002-) is associated.
