The National Monuments Service's description

On a low but prominent hillock in pasture. A low, dome-shaped mound of earth and stone (diam. at base 11.8m; H 0.3m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.3m; H 1.35m) with an internal fosse (Wth 2.9m; D 0.15m). A break in the bank at ESE (Wth 3.6m) with an accompanying causeway marks the original entrance.
