The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 37.3m) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 9.5m; H 1.3m max.) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 4.2m; D 0.25m). From WSW-W-NW the outer face of the bank and the fosse have been modified and incorporated into a modern NNE-SSW field boundary. A stone-lined break (Wth 1.7m) in the bank at E with an accompanying causeway probably marks the original entrance.
