The National Monuments Service's description
On the S-facing slope of a hill in undulating pasture. A fosse revealed in the course of archaeological excavations undertaken in 2009 extended beyond the limit of the excavated area. The possibility that this boundary forms part of the field system (LF013-147----) uncovered 80m to the NNW cannot be ruled out (Stephens 2009c; pers. comm. M. Stephens).
