The National Monuments Service's description

A largely milled-out togher (overall L 18m; Wth 2m) was evident as a band of wood chips, extending N-S, on the field surface with some patches of in-situ wood. One patch (1.7m N-S; 1m E-W) showed the elements running longitudinally. The remains comprised both brushwood and roundwood elements (diams. 0.003-0.03m and 0.07-0.11m). There was no visible evidence of woodworking. (Dunne 1999, 49, 99BG0005A-B)
