The National Monuments Service's description
In wet, low-lying pasture. A raised subcircular area (44.2m N-S; 41.8m E-W) enclosed by a substantial bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.3m; H 0.7-1.2m) and a wide, partially waterlogged, intervening fosse (Wth 7.6m; D 1.45m) with an outer bank (Wth 6.4m; H 1m) from NNW-N-SE. From SE-S-NNW the latter is no longer visible and the fosse has been largely infilled. A concrete water tank has been built into the inner bank at SW. A break (Wth 2.2m) in the bank at SSE with an accompanying causeway may mark the original entrance.
