The National Monuments Service's description
On a NNE-facing slope in low-lying pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 67.9m) enclosed by a wide, low bank of earth and stone (Wth 7.1m; H 0.3-0.9m) with a wide, shallow external fosse (Wth 5.9m; D 0.75m). From W-N-NNE the circuit and the morphology of the bank and fosse have been modified due to their incorporation into a modern field boundary. Elsewhere the outer face of the bank has been steepened. From NNE-E-SE the fosse survives as a very wide, very shallow, extremely waterlogged depression (Wth 9.2m; D 0.1m). From SE-S-SSW it has been infilled but its outline is still identifiable. A wide break (Wth 4.4m) in the bank at S with an accompanying causeway probably marks the original entrance.
