The National Monuments Service's description
On a SW-facing slope in pasture, a short distance above the river Shannon. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A raised circular area (diam. 42.7m) enclosed by a modern-looking, low, narrow bank of earth and stone with an external fosse. The original entrance is not recognisable. This is almost certainly a rath that has been extensively modified in modern times. It is densely overgrown with scrub.
