The National Monuments Service's description

On wet, low-lying ground. A small, raised, oval area (14m ENE-WSW; 10.2m NNE-SSW) enclosed by a narrow low bank of earth and stone (Wth 1.3-1.85m; H 0.6-0.8m) with a shallow external fosse (Wth 2-2.3m; D 0.1m). No trace of the latter survives from SW-N-NNE. The original entrance is not recognisable. Lazy-beds are evident within the interior.
