The National Monuments Service's description

On a terrace on a NE-facing slope in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 34m) is defined from SE-S-NE by a scarp (H 1.8-2.8m) with a wide, shallow, external fosse (Wth 7m; D 0.3-0.7m) from S-SSW-SW and from NW-N-NE. A NNW-SSE running road cuts through the rath from NE-E-SE. A report in 1975 (SMR file) suggested that the original entrance may have been at SW. Another rath (LF 011-002----) lies c. 12m to the W.
