The National Monuments Service's description
Archaeological monitoring in 2001, prior to the construction of a water-treatment works, revealed a double bowled pit feature (L 1.6m; Wth 0.57m; D 0.25m) of uncertain function. Also identified, in the secondary fill, were crude earthenware and possible flint or chert débitage. The function and date of these features are unknown (Elder and Halliday 2003, 254 5).
