The National Monuments Service's description
On a NE-facing slope in pasture. A raised D-shaped area (33m NE-SW; 30m NW-SE), with a straight E side, enclosed from ESE-W-NNE by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 3.5-4.3m; H 0.6-1.1m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1.35m). An external fosse (Wth 5.5m; D 1-1.8m) is visible from S-SW-W. The original entrance is not recognisable.
