The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture adjacent to a modern football ground. A report in 1975 (SMR file) indicates that this raised circular area (diam. 29m) was enclosed by a low bank of earth and stone and an external fosse. It is defined by a scarp (H 0.5-1.35m). The original entrance is not recognisable. The E half has been quarried away.
