The National Monuments Service's description
On a N-facing slope in pasture. A raised oval area (47m N-S; 40m E-W) enclosed from SE-W-N by a low bank of earth and stone (Wth 5.5-7m; H 0.2-0.6m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 1-2.1m). A shallow external fosse (Wth 6.5-8.5m; D 0.4m) is visible from S-W-N; although infilled from NNE-E-SE, its outline may still be traced. A low outer bank (Wth 4.5-5.6m; H 0.4-0.7m) survives from W-NW-N. The original entrance is not recognisable.
