The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. A raised subcircular area (35m N-S; 33.5m E-W) enclosed at NE by a wide low bank of earth and stone (Wth 6m; H 0.3-0.5m) and elsewhere defined by a scarp (H 0.8-1m). A wide external fosse (Wth 6.3-7m; D 0.2-1.4m) survives from S-N-NE . The original entrance is not recognisable. A report in 1975 (SMR file) recorded a wide shallow depression, of unknown significance, at the centre of the interior.
