The National Monuments Service's description
In the centre of the interior of a ringfort (LF009-009----). A tiny, circular, round-bottomed hollow (diam. 0.13m; D 0.07m) has been hewn into an irregularly shaped stone. The stone was unearthed in the 1950s during the course of field-drainage works close to the ringfort (Mimnagh 2010, 406) and, for many years, was kept for safe-keeping at a farmhouse until it was moved to its present location. (Murphy 2000, 78; Mimnagh 2010, 379, 406; pers. comm. S. Mimnagh 2011)
