The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Depicted as a circular enclosure with the designation 'Fort' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 26.5m) enclosed by a bank of earth and stone (Wth 8-9.5m; H 0.6-0.8m) from W-N-E. The S half has been destroyed and is not visible at ground level. A report in 1986 (SMR file) noted an external fosse and suggested that the original entrance may have been at NE. These features are no longer evident.
