The National Monuments Service's description
In a bay in Lough Gowna, c. 70m to the W of the shoreline. This stony oval island (c. 19m N–S; 10m E–W) rises 2.2m above the lake-bed and is overgrown with trees. The surface consists of stones covered by a thin layer of vegetation. These stones form a level stable surface with no distinct topographical changes. A crannog (LF006-076----) lies c. 200m to the NNE.
