The National Monuments Service's description
This is named 'R.C. chapel' on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. On inspection in 1999 it was recorded that the church had been removed and that a graveyard occupied the site containing 19th and 20th century memorials (SMR file). A plaque close to the entrance read: 'The Church of St. Columb Erected AD 1832 Rev. Eugene Daly P.P. To which Lord Southwell subscribed 40 guineas'. (SMR file)
