The National Monuments Service's description

At the foot of a low hill, some 70m from a stream, in rolling farmland. A short chamber is aligned N-S. On the E side are a tall portal-stone (H 2m) and, to its S, a sidestone (H 1.2m). The portal-stone on the W side is missing but an inward leaning sidestone (H 1.2m) survives. Above the orthostats are two large roofstones resting one above the other. The lower of these (L 1.7m; Wth 2.2m; T 1.2m) rests upon the two sidestones. The upper roofstone (L 3.2m; Wth 2.3m; T 1.5m max.) rests upon both the portal-stone and the lower roofstone. A preservation order was placed on this monument in 1933. (de Valera and Ó Nualláin 1972, 88, no. 3; O'Donovan 2002, 16)
