The National Monuments Service's description
Possible associated with an early monastery (see LF005-010001-). This roughly subcircular graveyard (70m N-S; 62m E-W) is enclosed by a stone wall from NNE-S-NNW. A modern concrete block wall cuts across the N sector at NNW and NNE and the area to the N of it is now used as a car park. The enclosing wall may mirror the line of an ecclesiastical enclosure. The main access point is a wide, wrought-iron gate in the N wall. Memorials date from the 19th to the 21st centuries. (Lennon 2005)
